We were good friends for many years, and talked as if we had never lost touch. She told me that the way I had treated people in grade school influenced the way she treated her students when she later became a teacher. .... a big responsibility ... this "leaving of brushstrokes" I met a friend a few months ago (both visiting loved ones in the hospital) We hadn’t seen each other in 2 decades.
